Master program
The architectural study at the Angewandte is offered only as a Master Program that takes 6 semesters and finishes with a MArch. The teaching language is English.
Architecture 2 – Studio Space Popular
The central artistic subject is architectural design taught in three Design Studios, each with its own specific focus. Architecture 2 – Studio Space Popular is guided Lara Lesmes and Fredrik Hellberg. Studio Space Popular is focused on Transmedia Architecture through design and theory. Transmedia Architecture defines the experience of space through multiple means: physical and virtual. We develop architecture that considers physical bodies and virtual beings equally.
Admission
Each admission to the university depends on the artistic talent of the candidate which is established by a portfolio and a personal interview. The admission is decided by a jury.
Requirement
Requirement: for approval is a Bachelor (BA) in Architecture and evidence of English language skills at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages(CEFR). Applicants can only apply to one studio! Start of the study year for new applicant is the following October. Positive entry examinations are valid for 3 consecutive semesters.
