Master program

The architectural study at DieAngewandte is offered as a Master Program that takes 6 semesters /180 ECTS and finishes with a MArch. The teaching language is English. Tuition fees via DiaAngewandte web-site : www.dieangewandte.at/ financial_issues

APPLICATION

REQUIREMENT: Bachelor (BA) in Architecture and evidence of English language skills at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​(CEFR). Application Process: Positive admission examinations (held in Jan/Feb) are valid for 3 consecutive semesters. Start of the study year for new applicants is the following October.

Architectural Design 2

The central artistic subject is architectural design taught in three Design Studios, each with its own specific focus. Studio Space Popular - Architectural Design 2 - is led by Lara Lesmes and Fredrik Hellberg. Studio Space Popular is focused on Transmedia Architecture through design and theory. Transmedia Architecture defines the experience of space through multiple means: physical and virtual. We develop architecture that considers physical bodies and virtual beings equally.

Admission

Each admission to the university depends on the artistic talent of the candidate which is established by a portfolio review first and followed by a personal interview (in person or online). The admission is decided by a jury. Applicants can only apply to one studio per admission period!
